Anderson University (IN), a NCAA III institution and a member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference invites applications for the position of Head Football Coach. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; promoting the program in harmony with institutional mission and oversight of all phases of a competitive NCAA DIII football program; recruiting, scheduling / travel, player development / team building, practice oversight, game coaching, alumni relations / fundraising and budget management. Additional duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree (required), master's preferred, from an accredited institution. Also required are previous coaching experience (collegiate preferred); a clear understanding of NCAA III philosophy and the student-athlete experience; ability to recruit in Indiana and contiguous states; ability to work as part of a team environment; a demonstrated commitment to the Anderson University mission and Christian lifestyle. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate with a diverse student body, faculty and staff, effective problem solving skills and personal initiative.
