Responsibilities: Northern State is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Football Coach, serving as the offensive coordinator. Primary duties include coaching the quarterbacks and overseeing the entire offense. Position will work closely with the Head Coach in all aspects of the football program and will manage multiple day-to-day operations of program including working with the head coach on all recruiting initiatives. Position will include, but not limited to: conducting daily offensive meetings, planning and coordinating individual and offensive group practice drills, identifying and diagraming opponents plays, overseeing the academic progress of a number of student-athletes, and scripting and formulating practice plans. Position will have a full-time recruiting area, experience in recruiting on and off-campus is required and will be a major part of the position. Preferred candidate will have experience with video editing, graphic design, and creating/managing new technology (e.g., social media, video highlights) for recruiting and promotion of football program.
