Old Dominion University, a NCAA Division I member of Conference USA, is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach – Wide Receivers (full-time, 12 month). This position will assist the Head Football all aspects of the day to day operations of a NCAA Division I program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: teaching student-athletes the fundamentals and mechanics of football, evaluating and recruiting potential student athletes, organizing and conducting team practices, performing administrative and public relations duties, and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the academic and athletic success of student- athletes and adhere to all NCAA and Conference rules and regulations. Salary range $55,000-58,000 annually.
Required Education: Master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree with work experience equivalent to a master’s degree.
Required Qualifications: Successful college coaching experience with wide receivers at the NCAA Division I level. Experience with student-athlete development. Successful recruiting of Division I academically and athletically prepared student-athletes. Proven record of adherence to all NCAA academic and compliance regulations.
