RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director of Football Operations, reporting to the Head Football Coach, is responsible for managing the day-to-day affairs of Western Illinois University's Football program, assisting in administering all phases of a competitive Division I NCAA Football Championship Subdivision Football program in accordance with the University, Missouri Valley Football Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. Serves as liaison with internal departments and all external agencies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree. Requires a thorough understanding of both principles and practices within a specific area of the football program and NCAA rules. Requires strong knowledge of intercollegiate athletics. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to work with diverse groups of student-athletes. Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree at time of appointment. Previous college football playing experience.
