Grinnell College is currently seeking an energetic, motivated, and well-organized individual to serve as assistant football coach and the program’s recruiting coordinator.
Responsibilities: The assistant football coach will work with the head coach to develop and execute a recruiting plan, which encompasses the development of a recruiting pool, the participation in recruiting camps and fairs, execution of a coherent messaging system, creation of on-campus recruitment programs, and travel throughout the U.S. to connect with recruits. Coaching responsibilities will focus on leading a position group, contributing to a game plan, and evaluating film for scouting and competition grading.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required and a Master’s degree is preferred with a concentration in physical education or related field. Two to four years of progressive college recruiting and coaching experience is desirable.
Selected candidate will need to successfully pass a background check prior to the first day of work.
