- Head of the Strength and Conditioning Department - Head Strength Coach for Football, and other sports as assigned - Responsible for the overall direction and supervision of the Assistant Strength Coach, Graduate Assistant, and Interns. - Assist with Football Game Day Duties - Maintain scheduling and coordination of all team workouts, and use of the weight room. - Responsible for reporting of student athlete's progress and keeping accurate records of team and individual performance. - Responsible for completing and returning all forms, lists, and reports originating from the Compliance Office involving the sport program. - Maintain competency with respect to knowledge of NCAA rules, ensure compliance with NCAA rules, and report to the Compliance Coordinator any knowledge of actions that violate NCAA, Southland Conference, or institutional rules.
Experience working with collegiate athletics in a Strength and Conditioning Role
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Thorough knowledge and understanding of NCAA Division I Rules, practices, policies, philosophy and procedures.
5+ years working with Collegiate Athletic Teams
2+ years as the Head of a Strength and Conditioning Department
