Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Football and Men's & Women's Indoor & Outdoor Track & Field Coach.
Primary Job Duties: Assist head coaches with all aspects of football and men's and women's track & field, analyze performance and instruct student-athletes in football game strategies and techniques and track and field technique and performance, recruit qualified student athletes, assist with fund raising efforts, accompany teams to functions and events, ensure compliance with institutional and NCAA rules, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education, Liberal Studies, Business or a related field and 3 years college football and track and field coaching experience.
Must be detail oriented and have excellent interpersonal, customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral and written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree and 4 years coaching experience in both football and track & field.
This is a full-time, exempt, State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Primary work schedule is will be non-traditional hours to include extensive evening and weekend obligations along with traditional Monday- Friday work schedule.
