The Harvard University Department of Athletics is currently accepting applications for one (1) 8-month internship in the Athletic Ticket Office ($11/hr). The intern will work under the direction of the Ticket Manager and Ticket Office Staff Assistants.
Primary responsibilities include ticket sales and event operations/logistics for Harvard Football, Men’s and Women’s Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, and Men’s Lacrosse The intern will be exposed to affiliated departments and personnel (Marketing, Finance, Operations) to understand the different facets of the business. Additional functions would include renewals, invoices, group sales, and ticket fulfillment for season and/or individual ticket purchasers. 35 hour commitment per week.
Evening and weekend work will be required. Must be available for home games and be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program and eligible to receive academic credit for volunteer hours.
A highly motivated individual is desired with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional customer service skills are required. Previous experience in ticket sales, ticket operations, and event management is highly beneficial.
