•Serve as the primary contact for all aspects of Kennesaw State’ University’s video, digital and multimedia production •Direct and manage ASUN TV, ESPN3 and athletics special events •Primary producer for football game broadcasts on Peachtree TV •Serve as the Department of Athletics day-to-day logistical contact for all interview features, weekly shows, press conferences, postgame highlight packages, pre-produced and live video content to be played on in-venue video boards •Archive and log all video content •Supervise and train one staff member, student assistants and volunteer personnel •Maintain all department video equipment •Travel and evening and weekend work is required •Reports to the Assistant Athletics Director for Communications & Broadcasting
Minimum three years of experience in video production and advanced media (online, social, digital) experience required.
Associate’s degree in a video or multimedia related field preferred
Strong knowledge of and demonstrated interest in video production and graphic design
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills are required
Strategic, innovative and creative thinker as well as a self-starter
Proficiency of video editing and design software required including Final Cut, Adobe Design Suite or comparable software required
Knowledge of video cameras and supporting video equipment
Experience in intercollegiate athletics is preferred
Advanced knowledge of fiber optic connectivity and troubleshooting
Working knowledge off Ross production equipment
