Wabash College invites applications for the position of Assistant Football / Track and Field Coach. The assistant coach, reporting to the Head Football Coach and Head Track and Field Coach and at the direction of the Director of Athletics, assists in all phases of successful NCAA Division III football and track and field programs, including supporting and advancing the mission of the College. Experience in coaching intercollegiate football and/or track and field is strongly preferred. A bachelor’s degree is required. Football duties include, but are not limited to: assisting the defensive coordinator, coordinating scout teams, film breakdown, and assisting with special teams. Track and field duties include, but are not limited to: oversight of training for throwers during the indoor and outdoor seasons, and working with the director of strength and conditioning in monitoring the strength program for throwers. Significant involvement in the successful recruitment of students to the College is required, as is adherence to institutional, conference, and NCAA Division III policies and procedures. The position is a twelve-month, full-time appointment and include benefits.
