Football Assistant Coach – Offensive Coordinator (Full-time)
The Athletics Department at Marist College invites applications for the 12-month, full-time position of Football Assistant Coach – Offensive Coordinator. Marist College is an NCAA Division I program competing in the Pioneer Football League. The Football Assistant Coach – Offensive Coordinator will work under the direction of the Head Football Coach. The Offensive Coordinator position will participate in the preparation, coordination, practice & game plan preparation, and execution of practice plans. The position is responsible for the identification, research of, and communication with prospective student athletes. The assistant coach will also assist in the academic, personal, and career mentoring of student-athletes.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting the head coach in planning, organizing, administering and coordinating the football program’s offense; assisting in the recruitment of quality, Division I student-athletes; practice, competitions and games; video analysis and instruction; enforce team policies and rules; and assisting the head coach in performing other job-related duties as assigned within the rules and regulations of the NCAA, Marist College and the Pioneer Football Program. Other duties as assigned by Head Football Coach.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred plus at least three to five years of coaching experience at the NCAA Division I, II or collegiate level or NFL. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Pioneer Football League and Marist College. Successful candidate should demonstrate ability to recruit quality student-athletes with potential for academic and athletic success.
