Beloit College is seeking a dynamic individual to be an Defensive Assistant Coach of our football team. This is a full-time position (12 months), reporting to the Head Football Coach. Beloit College is a highly selective, diverse, residential, liberal arts college of 1300 students, nationally recognized for its international and experiential education. A member of the Midwest Conference and NCAA Division III, Beloit is also a member of the Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM).
The College is seeking candidates for this position who can demonstrate a record of success in coaching football and recruiting student-athletes at the collegiate level. Successful coaches at Beloit College recruit, coach, and mentor students who seek development through active involvement in our diverse and dynamic campus, so that their education and success on the football field are mutually reinforcing. Candidates must demonstrate capacity to successfully recruit academically and athletically qualified student-athletes in partnership with the Beloit College.
Assist in the management of the football program including teaching and mentoring, the recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, and being actively involved in all of the College’s initiatives. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the department and college in meaningful ways through additional administrative duties.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; six years of football coaching and/or playing experience required, preferably at the college level; demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and a commitment to the academic development of student-athletes required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
