Job Duties The East Carolina Athletics Football Department is hiring a temporary Recruiting Quality Control Coordinator. The Quality Control-Recruiting (QC) Coordinator is a primary aid to the defensive/offensive coaching staff. This position reports to the defensive/offensive coordinators. The QC will provide various duties in analysis, quality control, administrative, organizational capacities, and graphics. In addition, this position will be responsible for bringing the vision of East Carolina University football program to prospective student athletes and fans through graphics and social media.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assist coaches with all duties for practice and game plan preparation.
Assist Defensive Coordinator with distribution of defensive gameplans.
Responsible for the defenses' schedules and scripts.
Assist Offensive/Defensive Coordinator with administration of practice scripts
Responsible for offensive/defensive gameplan creation and organization.
Responsible for various elements of offensive/defensive recruiting quality control.
Administer and organize official visits with recruits and supervise student-athletes for visits
Manage student workers who input recruiting data into database and conduct campus facility tours.
Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by head coach and offensive/defensive staff
Serve as liaison between coaches and video staff to ensure video needs are met for student-athlete instruction and recruiting
Serve as liaison between defensive coaches and equipment staff.
Coordinate video cutups of all opponent offensive film.
Assist with recruiting and closing packets as assigned.
Prepare presentations for coaches for recruiting using post-game clip videos and PowerPoint
Assist the coaching staff in creating and implementing a yearly graphics/social media plan.
Manage all Head Coaches/Assistants social media accounts.
Work closely with Associate Athletics Director/External Operations/S W A, Assistant Athletics Director/Marketing & Sales, and the Associate Athletics Director/Administration to ensure that graphics that are produced are not related to recruiting and adhere to current departmental branding standards.
Build quality relationships and work collaboratively and professionally with Pirate Club, athletics, and University staff, students, business vendors and all donors and stakeholders.
Abide by all written policies and procedures of ECU, the Department of Athletics, The Educational Foundation (Pirate Club), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and all applicable conferences or associations.
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Education/Experience Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution. Candidate must have experience with Photoshop or similar software. Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions and conferred by the time of hire.
