Cal Athletics is building a team of Gameday Interns for the upcoming Cal Football season! Gameday Interns will act as liaisons between Cal Athletics’ client relations unit and our stakeholders at every Cal Football home game inside the gates of California Memorial Stadium.
Interact with fans throughout the stadium, assist them with any needs
Must be available to work all six (6) 2019 Cal football home games: August 31, September 14, September 27 (Friday), October 19, November 9, November 16
Work alongside other departments such as sales, marketing, fan experience, event management, and ticket operations to provide excellent customer service.
Assist with guest services and ADA/handicap patrons through end of game
Other responsibilities such as promotion distribution, fan experiences and more.
Bachelors’ Degree (or in the process of completion) or higher
Previous experience working in events and in a customer relations role will be a plus
Smile, have fun and ask any questions that we can help you out with
Strong attention to detail in a fast paced work environment
Team oriented attitude with a “can do” service focus
Ability to demonstrate professionalism and maturity when responding to staff and fans
Must be able to work non-traditional hours, including all 2019 Cal Football home games:
August 31, September 14, September 27 (Friday), October 19, November 9, November 16
Mandatory training sessions in July of 2019
Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
