The Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation located in Colorado Springs CO is looking for an Assistant Falcon Stadium Manager.
The Assistant Stadium Manager will assist Falcon Stadium Manager in managing stadium materials, performing work requirements involved in support of turf grass field, maintenance, preparing for special events and other miscellaneous programs including Sport Camps.
Assists with the preparation of numerous Falcon Stadium events to include but not limited to intercollegiate football games, AFA graduation, AFA sports banquets, press box functions, Non revenue generating press box functions and other major events.
Responsible for ensuring set-up preparations are met for all events in the press box and assists with determining maintenance requirements for the press box Falcon Stadium and other related facilities.
Assists in budgeting, financial record keeping, and records management for Falcon Stadium.
Serves as facility manager in the Manager’s absence.
Reports directly to the Falcon Stadium Manager and may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Applicant must have knowledge and experience in various segments of operation and practices entailed in a stadium complex and buildings. Work which has clearly demonstrated knowledge of practices and procedures related to property management, such as budget preparation, maintenance of property and financial records and preparation of reports and correspondence of non-routine matters is desired. Applicant must have the ability to work independently. Experience which demonstrated knowledge of general maintenance systems, materials requirements and scheduling procedures is required.
Knowledge of and ability to operate, maintain, and repair a variety of plant operating equipment building, utility systems and knowledge of turf grass management principals is preferred.
Candidate must have strong organizational, verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills. Scope of job requires evening and weekend hours. Must be able to lift objects up to 60 lbs. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and successfully pass a background investigation. Random drug testing is required.
