KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ? Serve as facility manager for Russ Chandler Stadium, Shirley Clements Mewborn Stadium and Byers Tennis Complex. ? Serve as primary event manager for assigned Georgia Tech athletic programs – Baseball, Softball, Football Concourse Manager, and others as assigned. ? Provide event coverage and/or assistance for other event operations team members as needed; Provide general operations support for all Athletics hosted events, including but not limited to event set-up, staging, break-down, and clean-up. ? Oversee general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, including basic custodial services. ? Inspect assigned buildings and related fixtures, mechanical equipment, machines, and other structural components. ? Execute tasks related to daily building security as assigned. ? Transport tools, equipment and personnel to and from job sites. ? Obtain equipment and supplies required to complete assignments. ? May coordinate contractor service and loading dock deliveries. ? Assist with all NCAA and ACC championships hosted by GT Athletics. ? Manage special projects as assigned. ? Oversee the assigned facility and event operations budgets. ? Assist in the development and execution of contingency plans for emergency and severe weather scenarios. ? Develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with key internal and external constituents. ? Cooperate with the Athletics compliance office regarding NCAA rules and policies, including reporting requirements, and make a determined effort to ensure that staff and teams are in compliance. ? Exhibit the GT Athletics core values of character, excellence, teamwork, and innovation. Promote these values throughout the organization with a focus on fulfilling the GT Athletics mission. ? Perform other related duties as assigned.
