The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is seeking a Production Specialist to work closely with the Director of SEC Network, College of Journalism and Engineers to provide high quality productions for all Florida Athletic Broadcasts. This position will work with the Director of SEC Network Operations and Production in the control room & in-house TV broadcast. Works alongside broadcast operations in managing all equipment and tracking inventory. This position serves as the primary liaison for TV contacts during Football & Basketball season. Will also work as a member of part of the broadcast and production crew on most live broadcasts for the SEC Network while scheduling crews and organizing broadcasts at the direction of the Director of the SEC Network. This position will serve as the main point of contact for the UAA between Daktronics & video board production.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in mass communications, telecommunications, or related field and three years of progressively responsible production experience is required. The ability to edit on multiple tape formats are also requirements. Previous experience as a studio and/or remote producer, experience in ENG shooting and reporting and previous supervisory experience are preferred. The capacity to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds is essential. Must be flexible, detail oriented and have the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team. The availability to work a non-standard work schedule which will include evenings, weekends, holidays along with a valid Florida Driver’s License is mandatory.
