Primary duty is providing coaching assistance to the Head Coach during training and competitions for the University of Oregon’s football program. Responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Pac-12 Conference and the NCAA.
Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s degree • Five years of combined Division I or professional football playing/coaching experience. • Experience coaching defense. • The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
Professional Competencies • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Preferred Qualifications • Division I football defensive coordinator experience • Power 5 Football Conference or National Football League coaching experience • Master’s degree • Recruiting experience
