Thiel College seeks an Assistant Football Coaching Intern. This position will report to the Head Football Coach and the Director of Athletics. The selected candidates will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the College’s intercollegiate football program. Responsibilities include: •Assist the Head Football Coach in all aspects of game and practice preparations. •Mentor and monitor the student-athletes academic progress. •Evaluate players. •Follow all rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA Division III, the Presidents Athletic Conference, and Thiel College. •In addition, these positions will be held accountable to recruit and retain quality student-athletes for the College and the football program. •Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach. Applicants are required to have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Prior coaching and/or collegiate playing experience preferred. These 12-month positions are 40 hours per week at PA State minimum wage, housing, meals, and health benefits, as well as professional development opportunities.
