The University of Iowa Department of Athletics seeks a self-motivated, results-oriented individual with the knowledge, ability and interpersonal skills required to serve as Director of Football Creative Media. This is a 100% full-time (at-will and FLSA exempt) position with full University of Iowa benefits; salary range is $42,038 to $55,000 commensurate with education and experience and relevant salary market data. Responsibilities: Contribute to the Iowa Football Program and assist the Head Football Coach and Director of Recruiting in all aspects of the football program digital content creation process. In coordination with colleagues within the Athletics External Relations unit, the successful individual will be responsible for coordinating, creating, implementing, and maintaining all aspects of creative media required for use in recruiting football student-athletes via social, print, photography, and video media; assist in developing and implementing a social media strategy and plan in promoting the Iowa football program with the focus on recruiting football student-athletes; collaborating with the Director of Recruiting and other staff members regarding all permissible on-campus recruiting events; and other duties as assigned by coaching staff. This position requires frequent travel during the football season, work in the evenings, on weekends and holidays, a valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to meet and maintain The University of Iowa Driving Policy standards.
