The University of Nevada, Athletic Department is recruiting for two (2) Analyst, Football positions. The Analyst, Football position within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is responsible for the research and analysis of UNR’s football players’ and opponents’ tendencies, weaknesses, strengths, and trends. The Analyst works independently to analyze film data to assess, evaluate, and identify offensive, defensive, and special team patterns as well as prepare summary reports and statistical analyses for coaches to utilize in teaching, practice, and preparation for competition. The Analyst proposes strategic plans and coordinates video cut-ups as well as assists with opponent and overall game day preparation, the coordination of daily administrative activities, and the completion of special projects as assigned by coaching staff. The Analyst travels with the coaching staff and team to all local and away games to provide statistical analyses and support. Required Qualifications Master’s Degree and no related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree and one year of related work experience. Related Experience: athletic coaching, research and analysis of athlete tendencies, data preparation and presentation.
