SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: Reporting to the Head Football Coach, the Assistant Football Coach will be responsible for assisting in all areas of the football program as well as support and reflect the University and athletics department mission and philosophy. This position will serve as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks or Wide Receiver position coach.
OPPORTUNITIES OF THE POSITION: •Lead the offensive coaching staff and players with implementation of scheme, techniques and practice plans on the field and in meetings. •Coordinate a position group (QB or WR) and be competent with teaching technique and conducting individual practice time on the field. •Commit time, energy and thought into mentoring and investing in the lives of the student-athletes in our program. •Assist the special teams’ coordinator on the field and in meetings as assigned. •Assist Head Coach in conducting the football program in compliance with all NCAA, State, Northwest Conference and Institutional rules and regulations. •Assist in Recruiting quality student-athletes in cooperation with football staff and Admissions Office. •Assist the Director of Strength & Conditioning in workouts/training as assigned. •Assist in all areas of the football program as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Athletics Director. •Develop positive relationships with faculty, staff, students and alumni while interacting favorably with department personnel and university community. •Additional duties related to your role in the athletic department as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Athletics Director. .

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred Experience: Minimum of three year’s demonstrated successful coaching experience at the college or university level desired Licenses or Certifications: none
