Job Duties Coordinate the communications strategies for the Tigers football program and other athletic programs at the University of Memphis. Work independently to develop concepts, design and coordinate the printing or electronic distribution of a range of public relations collateral and graphics. Write and edit an array of print content including press releases, game previews and recaps, features and other material with many pieces produced on tight deadlines.. Cultivate and maintain solid working relationships with local and national media. Update content and contribute toward the creative direction of the department’s website, GoTigersGo.com. Coordinate game day communications operations including staffing for media relations and statistics staffing and management. Anticipate, coordinate and support the requirements of broadcast television productions at home events as well as requests from broadcast television talent and production crews both at home and on the road. Develop, monitor and update social media platforms with a strong focus on specific networks (Facebook, Instagram & Twitter). Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years of sports information, communications, or other relevant experience in collegiate athletics. Will require work beyond normal schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and some travel.
