Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required;
• Minimum of five years of sports marketing, communications or relevant experience at the collegiate or professional level required;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to creatively tell stories about student-athletes, coaches and teams using various communications methods including social media, graphic design, video and written content;
• Strong computer background with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Software;
• Ability to work with students, coaches and administrators in a broad range of situations;
• Willingness and ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends;
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and guidelines and experience working in an atmosphere of NCAA compliance;
• Ability to develop and implement innovative approaches and solutions;
• Work well independently and in teams;
• Flexible in accepting new responsibilities

Conditions of Appointment:  This is a 100% Academic Staff appointment. Salary will be assigned within the appropriate range, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. An excellent benefits package is also included.
