The Coordinator Operations - Player Recruitment assists the Director of Football Operations/ Coordinator Player Relations with assigned administrative aspects of the University's NCAA Division I football program. Essential tasks include: oversight of the football recruiting office; recruitment of student guest hosts; evaluation of high school and junior college recruit transcripts for college eligibility; update and maintain football coaches and football programs website, Facebook, twitter and you tube, all social media accounts. Coordinate all on campus game day recruiting activities to include meals, campus tours, and other related activities associated with official visits i.e., hotel accommodation, entertainment and meetings with designated coaches and other university personnel. Assist with the development of annual football clinics and summer camp structure; and assist to monitor student athletes academic progress as necessary. Other duties include but will not be limited to: assist the Director of Operations coordinate football team travel to away events; book hotel reservations for team and recruit travel; set meals and menus with designated hotels as assigned; reserve all football meeting rooms; coordinate all charter bus and air transportation; secure and oversee the team equipment truck for all away trips. Serve as liaison to the Compliance office, Campus Fraternities, NFL Scouts, High School Coaches and other groups as assigned by the head coach; serve as positive role model for student athletes; know and follow all NCAA rules and regulations associated with this position; serve as a secondary contact for all visiting teams playing in Murfreesboro throughout the season; secure all facilities associated with all football practices and games. Assist with oversight of all football banquets, golf tournaments, other fund raisers associated with the football team and perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
Required Related Experience: Two (2) years of administrative or coaching experience on the club, high school, collegiate or professional level and /or NCAA Division I playing experience. Two (2) years of Graduate Assistant experience in an athletic program will also be considered to meet the two (2) year requirement.
Desirable Related Experience: Three (3) years of administrative, coaching or playing experience working with a Division I football program.
